Stone Age Chefs

This week, the boys and girls became Stone Age chefs but with a modern twist! They began with discussions about food in the Stone Age. The children can all explain that early humans were hunter-gatherers who had a diet consisting of meat, fruit, nuts and berries and how this changed with the introduction of farming in the Neolithic Era. They then worked in groups to follow a recipe to make an apple and pear or apple and raspberry crumble using the air fryer. The boys and girls did a great job peeling and chopping the apples and pears, weighing ingredients and mixing the butter and flour to create the crumble.

The final product was very tasty!
