Last week, one of our Year 5/6 Football teams began the league campaign and were on the hunt to try and retain the trophy for the third time in four years.
There were two games to start us off.
The first game was a very close affair against Larkspur with both teams pushing to get the win. The only goal in the game came with a few minutes to go and it was Harlow Green who found it, sealing our first three points of the new season.
The second game came after a short break, against Kells Lane. The team were excellent from start to finish with the dedication and teamwork on show being incredible. During the game, Harlow Green scored seven goals which was a fantastic performance
Two wins out of two was a brilliant first week of action.
This week, is another big week for the team with two league games against Falla Park and Carr Hill before moving on to the Autumn Cup Finals on Friday.
