After a gloriously warm weekend, the children have all come into school today with a positive outlook but with, understandably, a little apprehension regarding their new classes.
Once the first hurdle of getting to their new classrooms was achieved (which went very well!), the children listened to Mr Malik in assembly talk about how children could work to ‘be the best that they could be’, over these next two days. Mr Malik talked about the success of the England Women’s football team and how the children should use the same skills that they are currently demonstrating in France, when working with their new teachers.
Ultimately, the children were reminded that they should strive to follow our three rules – Ready, Respectful, Safe – which will ensure that they are successful in all that they do.
The presentation from the assembly is available below.
