The Christmas festivities have now officially started after the school enjoyed a fabulous Christmas lunch this afternoon.
There was an early start for our kitchen team in the morning preparing the traditional meal along with some wonderfully decorated biscuits.
Everyone was extremely excited all morning which was evident when staff and children arrived in their array of amazing Christmas jumpers which made the whole place a little more magical.
Once lunchtime arrived, the children came into the hall, class by class, and were met by seasonal music and decorated tables. The look on the children’s faces was lovely to see as eyes widened and draws dropped.
As the children enjoyed their meal with their friends and classmates, they were over the moon with their crackers and loved sharing their jokes as well as surprises (the moustaches went down a storm!).
The whole event went brilliantly due to the efforts of our full team of teachers, teaching assistants, office staff, lunchtime supervisors and, most importantly, the catering team. We are so pleased that the children had an enjoyable experience and we hope it is simply the start of a great festive period.
