Reception have had a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day. The children loved showing off all their outfits to their classmates. To start the celebrations, we enjoyed the story ‘Here Come The Aliens’ by Colin McNaughton and discussed what it would be like if aliens really did invade our school. After this, the children had great fun designing their own alien, making alien hand prints and using their rockets to visit different planets in our counting game. The highlight of our day was having Year Four come down to share their stories with us. Staff and children alike have thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to everyone for making such an effort with your costumes.
