We have come to the end of another jam-packed week of home learning and again we have enjoyed reading your emails and looking at your photographs.
Baking and cooking still prove to be popular and feature again in this week’s photo gallery, as well as images of you all out and about on your daily exercise. Miss Ledger had way too much fun on a rope swing when out for her daily walk! Some of you even managed to chat with friends while still keeping to the 2 metre rule. There has also been some amazing creative work – printing of fabric and using sewing skills to create a pillow, taking inspiration from an artist and spending hours on a Death Star masterpiece, performing a poem on Youtube, and acting out scenes from Star Wars in the garden.
Well done to the member of 3A who was runner up in the NHS Trust Lego poster competition. We hope you enjoy the lego prize!
A huge well done to everyone who completed this weeks writing activity – a description of the Iron Man. We have been amazed by your use of ambitious vocabulary and similes which allowed us to create vivid images in our minds. Remember to look out for your new writing challenge on Monday.
We are pleased to see many of you are still accessing Reading Plus and Mathletics. Although the top individual scorer in the TT Rockstar battle came from 3A, it is 3B who slipped into the lead and were victorious once again – well done!
A number of you have also been preparing decorations and bunting for the 75th anniversary of VE Day and we hope you enjoy your celebrations. Remember to send in your photographs to show us the creative ways you’re celebrating! Mrs Morris’ celebrations are already underway with a red, white and blue garden tea party.
Take care and have fun!
