Can you believe that’s the first summer term over?! Tomorrow marks the beginning of May half term. We hope you spend next week relaxing and taking a break from home schooling! As such, we will not be setting tasks on Mathletics and we will not be setting a writing task on Monday (although please feel free to still use our apps if your children wish to!). We would still love to see what you get up to so please still email us at [email protected]
We have loved seeing your writing tasks this week, you are all really good at writing clear instructions! There have been lots of recipes sent in which look delicious (and we will have to try ourselves!). Lots of you used time conjunctions to show the order of your instructions which is fantastic!
This week, your teachers have been as busy as ever! Mrs Chapman has been enjoying the sunshine with her daughters and trying to get out for a walk in the warmth as much as possible (although she has often been caught out by the wind!). Miss Bull has learnt how to bottle feed one of her puppies as the puppy has needed a bit of extra help and is thinking all her experience with these puppies will lead her to be a fully qualified vet soon! They are now 2 weeks old and their eyes have just started to open! Mrs Hamilton has had green fingers this week. She has taken to gardening, planting lots of seeds and plants to brighten up her garden. She can’t wait to see what they’ll look like once they are fully grown!
Have a lovely half term (and remember to keep washing your hands and stay safe)!
