The children in EYFS have had another busy week home learning and enjoying the beautiful weather. A few children have been invited to virtual birthday parties on zoom that sound like they have been very successful and not nearly as messy for the party hosts! We have also heard that lots of children have been enjoying the paddling pools in their gardens, going on walks and bike rides and exploring nature. One of our children said goodbye to the froglets he has been looking after as they have now been returned to the pond and another family set free the butterflies that they hatched. It is lovely to hear that so many of you are exploring the natural environment and taking care of animals and plants. We have also seen some great art work this week, including unicorns and family portraits. As our book was about dinosaurs this week, we have seen some great writing and maths all linked to our story. It is hard to believe that next week will be half term and we hope that you continue the lovely things you have been doing at home. On Monday we will not be putting a home learning task on the website but we would still love to see pictures of the things you have been doing.
The staff in EYFS have continued to keep busy. Miss Bradshaw has been riding her bike and Mrs Anderson has been cutting her sons hair. Mrs Cunningham has been enjoying her garden but did have to rescue her gazebo this morning when it nearly blew away in the wind! Miss Hawley has been cooking some dishes from her new recipe book and Miss Heron has been dancing with her little sister.
We hope you all have a great half term and take care!
