Today ends the first week of our final half of the Summer term! Our story in EYFS this week, ‘Handa’s Suprise’, has refelected the sunny weather that we have been enjoying over the past few weeks. It has been great to see lots of children sharing this story with adults at home and exploring some of the themes in the book. Lots of children enjoyed using their senses to play guess the fruit and we have also seen some great African inspired art work. It has also been lovely to see so many children enjoying the seaside, walks in the woods and fun in their gardens.
This week, the staff in EYFS have been working hard to get the classrooms ready to welcome some of our children back on Monday, we can’t wait to see you! We also hope that those of you who are not returning next week will continue to join us in learning at home and sending us photos of the things you have been doing.
