Wow, another whole week has flown by and here we are approaching the weekend once again. We hope that you are all well and still keeping yourselves safe. It has been a busy week in Year 3 at school. On Monday, we welcomed back some of our pupils and it has been lovely to see them as we have missed everyone so much. Thank you for all of your kind messages wishing everyone a safe restart.
We have yet again received many photos of a range of activities that you have all been doing at home. Many of you have been taking advantage of the warmer weather and completed more outdoor learning activities. This has included setting yourselves challenges such as walking 10,000 steps a day, learning European capital cities, creating your own tuck shop and even more baking. Thank you for completing the English and Maths activities this week. Not only have we read some fantastic adventure stories but we have also seen how hard you have worked to calculate fractions of different amounts. Remember to look at the website on Monday for some more Maths and English Home Learning activities.
In the classroom we have been researching local landmarks, ready to create our own leaflets next week and we had fun creating our own animations on purple mash. The teachers have also been busy outside of school. Miss Ledger has been to the beach for a nice long walk (and some fish and chips) and Mrs Morris has been catching up with some diy at home. Mrs Batey has been keeping on top of her garden and is looking forward to cooking some of her home grown vegetables.
Remember to keep on sending in those emails, we love to see what you have been up to. Take care and stay safe!
