  • Reception B – Southernwood Care Home – Little Movers
    1:00 PM-3:00 PM
    10 Feb 2020

    30th January, 2020

    Dear Parents/Carers,

During this half term, we have been working with Little Movers during our PE lessons. Little Movers have been teaching us how to move and dance in different ways and are organising a project with schools they have been working with. This project includes school children visiting a local care home and taking part in a performance with the residents. This is an occasion for the children to showcase the different skills they have been learning at Little Movers. These inter-generational classes will be a very exciting opportunity for the children to expand their local community links, experience a different way of life and put on a performance for some local people. This will be a series of visits to the local old people’s home to partake in the inter-generational class.

These classes will be on the following dates:

    Monday, 10th February 2020

    Monday, 9th March 2020

    Monday, 20th April 2020.

The children will go in their class as …[Read more]
