Yesterday, some of our amazing KS2 runners took part in the Gateshead Primary Schools Cross-Country at Watergate Forest park against over 70 other teams! The children all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Congratulations to to one of our Year 5 girls who came 3rd in her race!

The Year 3/4 Hockey team that qualified for the finals last week had an amazing time playing against the top Gateshead school teams. They showed fantastic sportsmanship and enthusiasm and we are proud of how well they played!
The children had great fun this week creating Pirate Ships from our Christmas trees. The Pirates were fed sea biscuits, pirate stew and grog made in the galley. As you can see they were very busy and they even had a pirate band singing sea shanties.

Work continues at Angel Court, our boxes are now varnished so they can go outside and the wooden toys have been given a few coats of linseed oil to protect them.
