Yesterday, some of our amazing KS2 runners took part in the Gateshead Primary Schools Cross-Country at Watergate Forest park against over 70 other teams! The children all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Congratulations to to one of our Year 5 girls who came 3rd in her race!
The children had great fun this week creating Pirate Ships from our Christmas trees. The Pirates were fed sea biscuits, pirate stew and grog made in the galley. As you can see they were very busy and they even had a pirate band singing sea shanties.

Year 3 have had a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day. The boys and girls read The Day the Crayons Quit and produced some fantastic persuasive writing to convince the colours to stay in the crayon box. The children wrote letters as if they were the crayons and they went to nursery to read to t
