This week, some of our year 3/4 hockey players took park in an exciting tournament against around 30 other teams! Amazingly, one of our teams has made it through to the finals on Monday! Congratulations!

This week, 10 Year 2 children had a fantastic time taking part in the KS1 Multi-Sport Festival at Gateshead Leisure Centre. The children took part in a variety of activities using lots of different skills, including hockey, football, relay, bean bag and much more!

    Year One loved yoga!  We were lucky enough to work with Sarah from Yoga Bugs and together we zoomed off to space to find Tim Peake.  We learnt to stretch and balance our bodies on this amazing adventure.  It was so much fun!

The Year 3 tennis team have started their second round of training sessions with the aim of developing their skills further before playing in the Gateshead summer tournament. The children got back into warm-ups before practising forehands and backhands again.  It’s helped that the children have

In English, Year 6 have been reading the novel ‘Skellig’.  In this story, one of the main characters is home-schooled. The children have thought about what it would be like to be home-schooled and had a formal debate where they had to speak either for or against the motion.

IN Dance, Year 6 have been looking at the Greek myth of Theseus and the Minotaur. They have worked in groups to create their own dramatic dances which tell a lyrical dance version of the story.
