RNLI visit

The children in Key Stage 1 and 2 enjoyed a visit from the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution).  Our two visitors led workshops for the pupils. They found out what to do if you get into difficulties in water and showed real life videos of dangerous scenarios.  The children found out about different pieces of equipment that the RNLI use in their role which included a helmet, walkie talkie, first aid kit  and buoyancy aid.  The boys and girls learnt that if you dial 999  you can ask for a coastguard.

Keep safe everyone!
