Dear Parent/Carer,

On Tuesday 5th February, 2019 children from Year 2 are to visit the Newcastle Central Mosque as part of this terms topic.

 We will be leaving school at 9.00 a.m. and return to school before lunch time.

We would be most grateful for a voluntary contribution of £2.50 towards the cost of travel.

Please complete and return the permission slip below so that your son/daughter may take part in the visit.

Dear Parent/Carer,

 On Tuesday 12th February 2019, as part of this term’s topic, children will be visiting the Iskon Hindu Temple, Westgate Road in Newcastle. We will be leaving school at 9.45 a.m. and return to school before hometime.

Children will have the opportunity to try on traditional Indian clothing, learn about Hindu culture, they may have their hands and face painted (all water-based paint) and try Indian food. * Please delete and complete the allergy section on the permission slip.

We would be grateful for a voluntary contribution of £5.00 towards the cost of the visit. School will be subsidising the remainder.

 Payment can also be made on our Parent Pay website.

Children are to wear full school uniform.

SATs Meeting / Kingswood Meeting

Dear Parent/Guardian,

We would like to invite you to a meeting on Monday 11th February (at either 3:30pm or 5:00pm) regarding Year 6 SATs and the residential visit to Kingswood. The meetings will last approximately 40 minutes.

The meeting will begin with an opportunity for us to explain the format of the SATs and the work that the children will do in preparation for this.  It is an important opportunity to share with parents the information necessary for them to assist their children over the following weeks as the assessments get closer.

Following this, for those parents whose children are attending the residential, there will be a chance to discuss the structure of the three days, the types of activities, clothing the children will need and for us to answer any questions you may have.

Dear Parent/Carer,

Your child has been chosen to represent Harlow Green Primary School at a Table Tennis Tournament. The Tournament will take place on Thursday 14th February, 2019 at Joseph Swan Academy.

 Your child will need to take a PE Kit, and water bottle. (No glass bottles please).

We will be leaving school at approximately 3.00 p.m. to go to Joseph Swan Academy by coach. The tournament is due to finish at approximately 5.15 p.m.

Children MUST be collected from Joseph Swan by parent/carer. (Please tick box on consent form)

Please sign and return the consent form below, as, unfortunately, we are unable to allow any pupil to participate in this visit without written consent.
